

Carolina Reaper is a cultivar of the Capsicum chinense species, developed from Bhut Jolokia and Habanero peppers. Since 2013, it has been listed in the Guinness World Records as the hottest pepper in the world. Its heat can reach up to 2,200,000 SHU. The Carolina Reaper has a sweet, fruity flavor, just before it burns your tongue off :D.
It grows up to 150 cm tall and achieves the highest yield in a greenhouse. The fruits of this spicy pepper are red and measure 3 x 4 cm. They are suitable for sauces, drying, or as a spice. Fresh peppers are very juicy and have a strong fruity flavor and aroma.
